CHEMICAL RISKS 2009-  CHEP has permitted its rental pallets in the U.S. to be shipped outside of its controlled distributor network. This practice is not only a burden to independent pallet recyclers but also prohibits CHEP from assuring food based customers that its rental pallets have not been used to transport pesticides, hazardous or toxic chemicals.
